I remember as a child, watching old movies, where the heroines were beautifully dressed, always wearing demure skirts and stockings, and desperately wanting to be just like that when I grew up. And so I amassed a wardrobe of chic tailored suits and knee-length dresses, and revelled in the voluptuous pleasure of wearing them with vintage hosiery and lingerie.
